Few people embody the ethos and energy of the Rhythm Section dance more than our latest guest, but believe it or not, longtime pal CC has never played Rhythm Section...
We booked her for an ill fated show in March 2020, which was cancelled by the pandemic and never rescheduled..... UNTIL NOW!
We thought long and hard about how best to approach this one and we settled on a 7 hour, outdoor back to back as pretty much the best plan ever.
BZ and CC will go head to head, battling it out all day long at the Fox and Firkin's wonderful outdoor discotheque. Come rain or shine, we got u covered ( literally) - and if last years dance with Wax'o Paradiso and John Gome is anything to go by - this is gonna be one hell of a dance.
If you don't know CC:DISCO! then it's about time you did. Introducing first: the thunder-from-down-under, the lineal disco world-champ and one of the most notorious party starters on the scene, fighting out of Lisbon, Portugal by way of Cobram, Victoria - CC burst onto the scene here in the northern hemisphere after conquering the Australian DJ Circuit and becoming the go to selector to headline the most prestigious festivals. CC went from cult favourite to household name in the last 10 years, gathering enough momentum to propel her across the globe to Europe where she has taken on the establishment with a similar cool and effortlessness with which she rose to the throne in Aus.
Whilst no stranger to going 'turbo' every now and then, CC isn't afraid to slow things down in the name of the groove and has spoken quite candidly about not always feeling the need to chase the ' hands in the air' moment as a DJ. As a Mood creator - she's knows the most profound moments on the dance floor aren't always performative. Creating a mood is a subtle art form that CC has mastered.
What better way to flex these nuanced arts of DJing than in an extended all day set from 2pm to sundown b2b for the second ever time with RS mainstay and sparring Partner: BRADLEY ZERO ....
